Tell us about yourself, who are you and what makes you so rad? I absolutely love to have a good time! Whether it's on my bike, or just hanging out with my buddies. There is a smile on my face almost 100% of the time! If i'm not smiling, I am probably not riding my bike. I give my all in everything I do, and I love to work hard. Riding mountain bikes brings me an incredible amount of joy. I feel so fortunate to get to do what I love year round! Especially in good style ;)

Competition or just riding? I must say, I love riding for fun, but racing is where my heart is at! Of course, whenever I am on my bike I am having fun, but the adrenaline, and the competition of racing tops it all off for me. The rush of racing is something I live for.

What’s your all time favourite mountain biking trip? If Crankworx Whistler counts as an MTB holiday then that is definitely it!! Crankworx Whistler is always the best time. From racing all the legendary races, to getting to shred party laps with all of my buddies. It never fails to make my summer.

What do you love about riding? There are so many things I absolutely love about riding. Something that sticks out for me is the fact that riding never seems to get old, no matter how much I ride, I still get the same unreal sensation every time, that pushes me to ride in the first place. I could never get sick of riding my bike! Aside from that, all the adrenaline rush, the sense of freedom, and the feeling of accomplishment all make me love riding more and more every time.

What are you most proud of achieving through riding? An achievement I am most proud of would be the opportunity where I got to ride in the 2019 backwoods jam at Coast Gravity Park here in British Columbia. I was awe - struck as I was able to ride alongside some of my idols growing up. It was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. Another accomplishment I am proud of would be placing third at the Fox Air downhill race at crankworx in 2019. I was in a bit of a battle with that race during the previous years I had raced it, but in 2019 I found my mojo and had a clean run that landed me in third place in a huge field of riders!

One tip you would give to a grom wanting to become a pro rider like yourself? A tip I would give someone would be, find the joy in riding, and always keep an open mind as progression is your biggest friend in this sport. Setbacks will occur, but in the end, whatever happens, happens, and it is all part of the game, in the end it is all worth it... every bit!
