I love these shorts. Great coverage down the legs and over knee pads with no gaps, but no so long that they look like I'm wearing hideous capris. I've wiped out a couple of times and there's absolutely no damage to the shorts and they protected my thigh and hip well. The material works at multiple temperatures, keeping me cool in hot and humid conditions, but somehow also allowing me to stay warm in 5c temps (that said, I also wear various thicknesses of bib shorts underneath depending on temps, so that probably has more to do with it than the shorts themselves). One of the best things about these shorts is the fit in the crotch. I hate shorts that have a lower drop crotch because it sometimes snags my seat when I'm moving around. These fit closer, but still give plenty of room for my junk.

The only caution I'd give is that - as one reviewer said - these do fit slightly tighter in the waist/hips than other brands. I wear a 30" in virtually any North American made short or pant. I can wear the 30" and they're pretty good; but they definitely fit more like a 28". If you're just on the verge of a pant size or just like a little more room, size up.

Loved everything except your pants size was a little off compared to other brands (fox, Fasthouse etc) I bought a 36 but it was more like a 34.
