Tell us about yourself, who are you and what makes you so rad? So my name is Arnau and I’m 16 years old. I’ve been living in Andorra for 13 years, I am Andorran and now I’m here in Barcelona. I am studying tech bachelor and it’s pretty good, having a plan B is always important. On the other hand I'm training every day to be the best rider, that is my main goal.

Competition or just riding? Competitions 1000%, I was born to compete. I really like the professional routines, the seriousness... and having fun at the same time is the key. But there’s time for everything.

What’s your all time favourite mountain biking trip? Being at Vallnord bike park with my mates is just crazy! During the morning we ride in a “serious way” and then when the work is done we do chill laps, a bit of media... basically we do silly stuff.

What do you love about riding? The sound of speed, the adrenaline and the freedom it gives you.

What are you most proud of achieving through riding? Being the 2020 Spanish National Champion and finishing 3rd in a European Cup a year ago.

One tip you would give to a grom wanting to become a pro rider like yourself? Never say you can’t do anything. The tip is “simple” train more than others and be confident with yourself.
