Ather has a similar overall silhouette to Gravity, but the lighter fabric and redesigned semi-elastic waistband make it feel more relaxed on the pedals. There is also a little more room through the lower leg for a more relaxed look.

The Ather Pant has a similar fit to our Gravity Pant, but with a slightly more relaxed, casual feel. The redesigned waistband offers more stretch and flexibility, making it more forgiving around the waist, while the lower leg has a slightly looser fit.
You'll generally wear the same size as your Gravity Pants, but if you've found the Gravity a little tight around the waist, you may find the Ather more comfortable without needing to size up.
Ather uses a lighter-weight nylon and elastane fabric with the same DWR water-resistant finish. It is the more pedal-friendly option for warmer days and long rides, while Gravity is the more robust choice for riders who prioritise downhill durability and protection.
If you’re mostly racing DH or crashing a lot (no judgement), Gravity is the tougher choice. If you pedal a lot and like to stay cool, Ather is your pant.
No need. Ather is cut with room for knee pads, so stick with your usual size.
Absolutely, that’s what they’re made for! The lightweight stretch fabric moves with you, while the no-snag crotch panel stops anything catching on the saddle. The stretchy waistband also makes a big difference on long climbs, keeping you comfortable when you're bent forward in a pedalling position, without digging in or making you want to undo a button.
PFAS are chemicals commonly used in outdoor clothing to help repel water and stains. They're often called "forever chemicals" because they break down very slowly and can remain in the environment for a long time.
By choosing fabrics and treatments without intentionally added PFAS, we're reducing our use of these chemicals while still delivering the performance you need on the bike.
They’re water resistant, not waterproof. A DWR finish sheds spray, puddle splash and light showers, but if it’s properly bucketing down you’ll still get wet.
It means the fabric is made through a process assessed for more responsible chemical use, worker safety and environmental impact.
Close zips, wash cold, and line dry for maximum longevity. Avoid fabric softener so the fabric finish can keep doing its job. You can also refresh the water repellant finish periodically by putting them in the dryer on a sport setting.
Nope, this is where Ather shines. The lighter fabric breathes and dries fast, making it our go to pant for warm days and long pedals.
The Ather Pant is made from a lightweight nylon stretch fabric, which is naturally quite durable and abrasion-resistant.
However, as it's a lighter fabric, it won't be as tough as our Gravity Pant. Like any riding pant, it can still rip in a crash depending on how and where you land. If you're after something lightweight and comfortable for pedalling, Ather is a great choice. If durability is your priority, especially for more aggressive riding, we'd recommend the Gravity Pant.
