The Opportunity:
We're looking for a hard-working and proactive Customer Experience and Warehouse Casual to jump in immediately to support our dynamic team at DHaRCO HQ in Terrey Hills. This casual role continues through Spring and Summer and is key to ensuring our customers receive exceptional support. We're after someone who genuinely cares – that orders arrive on time and correct, and that every customer feels looked after from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves mountain biking, has a strong customer focus, and enjoys a varied role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Sales & Merchandising
- Greeting and assisting customers in our HQ retail space.
- Keeping the Showroom clean and presentable.
- Providing expert advice on DHaRCO products.
- Processing sales and handling transactions.
- Maintaining a tidy and well-stocked retail display.
- Assisting with visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Warehouse Operations
- Picking and packing online orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Receiving and processing incoming inventory.
- Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse space.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock management.
- Restocking shelves.
- General Duties
- Answering customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Assisting at events (some weekends during the year).
- Assisting with general office duties as required.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong customer service mindset and a passion for helping people.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Flexibility to work casual hours, including some weekends (e.g., occasional Saturdays in the showroom).
- Can learn quickly and follow processes.
- Physically capable of lifting boxes, climbing ladders/stairs, and restocking elevated shelves.
- Proactive, can-do attitude.
- Self-motivated.
- Desirable
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Basic bicycle mechanical knowledge (e.g., changing a tire, basic adjustments) is a benefit but not required.
- A passion for mountain biking and knowledge of the industry.
