A Weekend to Remember

A Weekend to Remember

After a long road back from injury Amaury Pierron completed one of the most inspiring comebacks when he completely blew away the field at Val Di Sole on the weekend.

With one of the gnarliest tracks on the circuit in front of him, weather getting worse by the minute, Amaury was the final rider to drop in. It wasn't a complete surprise to see a green split first up but from there he got even quicker as the sections grew more difficult towards the bottom. We were witnessing another vintage Amaury Pierron run as he laid down his signature all-or-nothing run to blow apart the top men's race time with a margin of 4.893 seconds. A true masterclass on the black snake and one that puts him firmly back in the conversation.

"Honestly it's been such a hard year coming back from injury. I've just struggled a lot, had massive doubts about myself, it was really hard. Finally, coming back to winning, on the toughest track of the season, maybe the toughest track of my life, I never seen Val Di Sole like this, so yeah, it's insane. I can't be more proud and more happy about my run."

Max Alran took the challenge of last rider down in his stride, earning himself another Junior World Cup win, second week in a row, and is looking fast and furious.

After setting fast times all weekend Myriam’s pace faltered a little in the final after a big crash yesterday, but she's leaving with a great fourth place, her head high, and confident the speed is back.

Dylan Maples has slowly but surely been working his way up from race to race and it came together for him on Saturday.

Enjoying the gnarly and physical course that suits his style so well, he kept cool after a small mistake and put down an impressive run, crossing the line into first and eventually finishing 8th, a career best for our the American.

Amazing weekend all up for the team!
