MAX TAKES HIS 1ST ELITE MENS WC WIN IN LES GETS
Max Alran claimed his first ever Elite World Cup victory in Downhill at the 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series in Les Gets, France. Dropping in last on Saturday, he battled the toughest conditions of the weekend to post a winning time of 3:27.924, sending the home French crowd into a frenzy and moving him up to seventh in the overall season rankings.

“The crowd here, the fans, are insane. My family and friends were all yelling, and having my brother there meant a lot, too! I was pretty relaxed in the start hut, so I guess the pressure of being the last man down worked well for me. I'm so stoked, I can't believe it. This is crazy!”
Racing on home soil in front of family and friends, it couldn't have been a sweeter result for Alran. Huge congrats to Max on a well earned first win, we're stoked for him!
