From a young age, Luke Whitlock was surrounded by some of freeride’s biggest icons, soaking up every moment hanging out with guys like Cam Zink and Kyle Strait.
For Luke, nothing about his journey has been handed to him. It’s been years of showing up, digging, riding, and learning from the best. After mentoring under Kyle and Cam - two riders who helped define modern freeride, Luke joined Kyle’s dig team at Rampage in 2023, putting in the work behind the scenes and earning every ounce of experience that came with it. That dedication paid off in 2024 when Luke received his own Red Bull Rampage invitation, stepping into the spotlight he’d worked tirelessly to reach.
This film traces Luke’s journey from those early backyard sessions to standing shoulder to shoulder with his mentors on freeride’s biggest stage.
His years of grit, grind, and passion have led to this moment - a testament to what it means to earn your place among the best.
As a longtime DHaRCO athlete, repping the brand for the past seven years, Kyle Strait has been a constant presence in freeride, competing in every single Red Bull Rampage since its inception and taking home two victories along the way.
While Kyle won’t be competing in this year’s event, his influence continues to shape the next generation, standing by to support Luke as he takes on the mountain once again.
