The Rheon back protector sits in a dedicated integrated pocket, disappearing under your jersey without the bulk or heat of traditional armour. Rheon technology stays soft and flexible while you're riding, then instantly stiffens on impact to absorb energy when it actually matters.

The bib itself is built for all-day comfort - soft elastic straps, high-airflow mesh construction, and a premium high density chamois for those days that turn into epics.

The system is modular, so the protector can be removed and swapped between bibs. Start with the full bib + protector kit, then add extra bibs separately if you want multiple bibs for multi-day rides or trips.

These are body measurements — grab a tape measure, take two quick measurements, and you're done. Hips are the most important one for women's bibs.

Lycra sizes differently — here's why

Our shorts and pants come in XS through 2XL. The QOM Bib only comes in four sizes — and each one is cut to fit a wider range than our regular kit. Lycra has enough stretch that one size covers what would normally be two in a woven fabric. So if you're between sizes in our shorts, size up — you'll get a better fit across the seat and more comfort on long rides.

Full size reference

Hips are usually the best guide for women's bibs. If your waist and hip measurements point to different sizes, go with the larger — lycra will compress to fit, but you don't want it too tight across the seat on a long ride. The inseam is 24 cm (9.4") across all sizes — this is a short leg by design, as expected for a lycra bib liner worn under shorts.

How to measure

Waist

Find the narrowest part of your torso — between your hips and ribcage. Measure around your body at that point. Don't suck it in.

Hips

Stand with feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Between sizes?

Size up. Lycra is forgiving, but a bib that's too small will be uncomfortable on long rides. When in doubt, go larger.

Think stage races, bike trips, or big riding weekends — when you want fresh bibs but don’t want to carry multiple protectors. With this system, you can run one Rheon back protector insert across multiple bibs, swapping it between them in seconds.
